Barn On The Prairie
Recently, I found a blog called Skywatch where bloggers post pictures of the sky over their heads every Friday to share with anyone who’s curious about what skies look like around the world. I thought I’d join in to share our big beautiful Kansas sky.
This was taken from our pasture. The barn is where the first calf heifers seek refuge from the winter winds. But the they won’t be turned in to the pasture until February, so right now it’s a quiet place beneath the fall sky.

It this doesn’t say Kansas, I don’t know what does. Excellent capture.
Beautiful back yard! I used to participate in Skywatch but stopped for some reason awhile back. Enjoy participating!
Your part of this wide, wide world is gorgeous!
SKY LOVE
Sky above, sky aglow,
Sky of rain and sky of snow;
Sky of hail, sky of sleet,
Sky cavorting o’er the street;
Sky of black, sky of blue,
In all seasons I love you!
