What a wonderful thing to see! But I was a little worried about you so close to them! Did you feel safe? Great video! thanks for sharing it with us!!
Actually, I really wasn’t that worried about them because they were all so calm and didn’t seem to even care I was there. Thanks Nancy!
Fascinating! I’m wondering if the young cow was licking her nose so much because she felt ill at ease so near to you. How close were you? It worries me, too, that you are so near them! Haven’t you ever heard of buffalo stampedes? 🙂
The young cow came within a few feet of me, but she was just trying to catch my scent and figure me out. Just curious.
Fun to watch! They were so quiet, I kept waiting for a some bellering. Our cows do that tongue-in-nostril trick, too!
Nice video!
She looks a little nervous to me. She was cleaning her nose then raises her head towards the sky to get your scent. She continues to clean and again raises her head to get your scent. She figured out you were not a threat.
You are very brave nevertheless.
Thanks Edith. It was quite an experience.
Love that! Did you have your running shoes on, just in case? They seem very mellow and calm. What a beautiful place for them to live! I love how they roll their eyes. My teenagers used to do that to me.
Brave indeed. Thanks for sharing this great video!
Very nice video, makes me want to pet one of them. Yes, I too, was surprized at how calm they are, not afraid at all, but curious.
Now I have enjoyed my morning – Thanks.
Thanks for sharing! Always enjoy your blog posts!
