About a week ago when Harland and I were taking down the electric fence around last year’s cornfield, I noticed a large hole at the edge of the field. Curious about seeing who might be in residence, Harland set up a camera trap near the hole.

Yesterday we went back to see what we “caught”.

Guesses anyone?  Stay tuned.

Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.

I would guess a fox, since I’ve seen holes like that in the ditch up the road from where we live. Second guess would be a badger.
