Sometimes at a public fishing hole….
fishermen who have had a successful day will let other fishermen know of their good fortune via some low-cost advertising.
After cleaning their fish, they hang the remains on a fence near the fishing hole.
The non-verbal message here is not only that the fish are biting, but how big they are too.
Not sure how long fishermen have done this,
but it does make for a gross, yet effective advertisement.
And it makes for an interesting photo op for 2 strange photographers out on a Sunday drive in the Flint Hills of KS.
