Kitty Finds The Warmest Spot
“In my job as a Comfort Location Engineer, I spend each day searching for the perfectly comfortable and warm spot to rest in my house. Today I would like to share with you what I believe is to be the warmest place to spend an afternoon.”
“Now, there are 2 factors to consider before climbing up on your dryer to take a nap. First, the dryer needs to be running. Second, the sun needs to be shining on it for added warmth.”
“If these 2 criteria are met, you will have heat from both below and above. It’s a warmth sandwich.
As an added bonus, the top of the dryer is a perfect vantage point from which to supervise the human of the house. It’s important to make sure the humans are doing their chores correctly.”
” I hope you find this advice to be both informative and useful.”
Regards,
Kitty

This was too cute! And, it made me laugh. I had to read it to Dan (my husband) and it made him laugh too! 🙂
This is great, and so true! I love that bit about a “warmth sandwich”! I really did LOL! What a lucky cat! Have you been doing your chores to her satisfaction?
Hi Debbie,
Not sure if we do the chores to her satisfaction or not. I know she feels we don’t feed her often enough. She would weigh 100 pounds if we listened to every time she asked to be fed.
Can you imagine being that relaxed! Great post. Happy jolly wintet to you.
Smart Kitty! Your pictures tell such a cute story!
Warmth sandwich. Love it! Kitty looks quite content.
this made me smile! Smart kitty indeed!
What a beautiful post! I love your color and your kitty.

A “comfort location engineer” perfect vocation for cats. My siamese has it down pat. Thanks for the lovely kitty pics.
“Comfort location engineer” does seem to be my cats most important job, other than food testers and office “assistants”
HAHAHA!! Too funny!! That nearly provokes me to think up some official names for the creatures that reside in my home 🙂
So true! My cat would probably like the human in her house to take the pile of folder clothes off the dryer so she could hang out there.
Oh kittie you got some great tips for finding warmth!
Hi Julie,
Kitty has a lot of time to think about such things. I’ve encouraged to to spend her time in more helpful ways, like doing laundry, or dishes. She’s not going for it.
I love, love, love this post! It is awesome! I just love how cats just exist for no other reason than to just…exist! They don’t really have to do anything at all…just find cozy places to sleep…it’s so funny! and cute! Your photos in this post are gorgeous!
Hi Bonnie,
You described our cat perfectly. She eats and sleeps, and plays. And that’s it. I sometimes wish I was her. 🙂
