Christmas Eve

Today is a day of anticipation, excitement for what tonight and tomorrow brings. We look forward to large homecooked meals lovingly prepared for family and friends. Soon brightly wrapped gifts will be opened and faces of both the receiver and giver will shine with joy. We’ll attend a Christmas service and marvel at the beauty of lit candles, decorations, nativity scenes, and the sound of favorite carols. 

Tonight our hearts will fill with anticipation and joy, much like the heart of a young woman this night over 2000 years ago.
