I learn something new everyday. Are you guys planting soybeans in last years corn field? Soil looks little dry too, is that typical for Kansas soil?
Yes, we practice no- till where seed is planted directly into last year’s stubble. Cuts down on soil erosion. And yes, it is very dry here. Hubby said last night that we may have to replant some of the field corn as it never germinated.
