Soybean Harvest- Video One

I sat down last night to edit all the video I took of our soybean harvest, but as I reviewed the footage, I realized there was too much going on to condense it down into one short video without you missing out on some of the action. So to get a full picture, I have Part One for you today, and will show you Part Two tomorrow.

(For those of you who may be new here: Harland is my hubby, and Bill is our neighbor, good friend, and a retired farmer, who helps out at harvest. )

.

.

~Tomorrow, I climb into the combine for a ride around the field, and the harvest goes on into the night: It’s harvest by headlights.

Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.
