I saw the radar this morning and wondered if you were getting it. I’ll never forget an April snowstorm we had here in Missouri in the 70’s. It was a doozy! But this too shall pass. Good luck with that contacting the Congressman!
I heard about that April snowstorm. Was in 1975 right? The kids at Prairie Hill school had to stay there that night. Then when the snow melted off there was bad flooding.
So sorry that you are on the “Is it Spring Yet” rollercoaster. Your tulip is sure trying to bloom in spite of the flurries. Good luck and don’t pack your coat away yet.
Winter just will not let go. We still need the moisture where I am at but once again the rain keeps skirting us. Today we had a few sleet pellets but little else…besides the cold. I am ready for some sunshine and warm weather!
That tulip is a beautiful bit of color in the cold snow! Hope real spring comes to you soon!
I’m with you on that! I got tired of being cold and started a fire in the wood stove again. (We usually stop using it by April 1st.)
You are so funny Suzanne! Great post (as always)
I loved watching Kitty, just like my crew of 7 =^..^=
Claudette
We have had the same problem in Maine, snowstorms are gone we hope, some green grass but 27 degrees in the A.M yesterday. No tulips just cloudy and lots of rain. I grew up in Kansas and always loved the beauty of the plains. Your photos are so appreicated.
I love Maine. We were there a year ago in August. We’d like to make another trip further north into Nova Scotia. Have you been up there?
No I have not been to Nova Scotia but loved Prince Edward Island and the beautiful farm lands and oceanviews.
Lovethe snow picture. We are uprooted from Buffalo,NY where it could snow on Memorial Day! I miss a real spring.
I should have mentioned that we are now residing in Lexington, KY. Where 2″ of snow closes everything down… Love your site. Thank you for all your pictures.
So if I lived in KY I could have stayed home yesterday because we got several inches. I’m moving there! 🙂
Several inches on Tuesday? Well, it did look like it just sat there on top of you according to the radar. Saw some skiffs of snow on the way to work this morning. Nothing at home.
Yes, 1975 sounds right for that snow. Good to know about Prairie Hill School. Enjoy the sunshine today from inside!
