A Little Washing Up
Before Kitty got sick, we used to make fun of her for all the cleaning she did – constant grooming and licking, licking, licking. Harland figured she must have some sort of OCD. But we were proven wrong in the first few days of her illness. She had a fever, was vomiting and lethargic, and she didn’t do any cleaning for a couple days. We noticed that her fur was kinda dirty-looking and appeared to be oily.
We stood over her and remarked, “Wow, all that cleaning IS necessary.”
Kitty: “That’ll teach ya’ for making fun of me.”
(Pictures taken this morning.)
Me: “Yes, Your Royal Fluffiness.”

So glad she is feeling like her old self again.
Oh my she is really going at it. I love to touch a place they have already done and watch them do it again to get the “human” off. It is true sick cats don’t groom. I also noticed alot of cats in shelter cages don’t either. Maybe its a stress thing. Glad she’s back!
Yay Kitty 🙂 Glad to see things looking up as I love Kitty!
Dear Cookie, you look marvelous!!!!
Excuse me, I Know the cat’s name is Kitty, don’t know why I said Cookie, that is my cat’s name. Kitty looks MARVELOUS!!!
Aw Kitty! So cute!! So, that’s interesting…I didn’t know that all that cleaning removed oil and dirt…very cool
I hope Kitty didn’t mind you photographing her “baff”! Glad to see she’s herself again!
So glad she’s doing better!
HOORAY!! Clap, clap, clap…so glad she’s feeling better!
