Here’s how to relax at the end of a long day of sleeping.
Beg your human to let you outside and then immediately make a run for the steps at the end of the sidewalk. Flop over onto your back.
Feel your spine stretching out?
All the way now. Even your toes, spread them out too. Reach…REACH!
Now, slide on down to the next step.
Now rub your cheek and shoulder along the warm concrete. Ahhh…….
Reeeelax…. Become one with the concrete….
Time out. I hear something. Could be a wild animal. I have to keep a look-out you know.
Ok, the coast is clear. Back to business.
Drop back over onto your side.
Get as much contact as you can with the concrete.
This also creates a low profile and makes it harder for predators to see you. Being well-camouflaged as I am, I don’t have to worry being seen, but I thought I’d demonstrate this tactic anyway for your benefit.
And that’s all there is to it. Now don’t you feel better?
