As we pulled into the driveway after driving from Kansas City, it was almost 2:00am. We hauled all our luggage inside the house.

And who was there to greet us?

Why, Kitty of course:

Healthy as could be, and you never saw a happier Kitty either:

It was so good to see Kitty, well and happy. That night she slept with us, and the next day she stuck like glue. If we left the room and she lost track of us, she called and called until we would answer and she came to find us.

That afternoon, I sat on the couch for a while and Kitty joined me…

and purred and purred and purred…

It was good to be home.

Cattle, corn, wheat, beans, mud, snow, ice, and drought. Plenty of fresh air and quiet. Our life is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes joyous, but never boring.

I, too, smiled through the entire video! I’ve noticed before, that you’re pretty good at the one-handed-camera-thing, Suzanne. Glad you’re reunited with your favorite fur-baby!!

Oh my gosh you two really got the full cat treatment from her didn’t you? The purrs, the rubbing, the talking, the whole nine yards. She was SO happy her people were home. It is hard to believe that is the same cats that acted like a wild woman at the Vet just a couple weeks ago! Thank you for taking us on vacation with you we had a great time and the waterfalls were so beautiful and the train was fun. Oh and Blueberry World….well, strange. Tell Harland thank you also. Welcome home!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip with us all. You should make it into a book! Even though it was all enjoyable, the best part for me was seeing how happy Kitty was to have you both home. Sweet Kitty!
