Kitty In Bed
Our bed is one of Kitty’s favorite places to sleep.
“Ok, trying to sleep here….can I have some quiet?”
We take every opportunity to keep her awake because she sleeps all day, and then wakes us up at night.
“No, seriously, I don’t want to play.”
If you stick your hand under the covers and wiggle your fingers, she thinks it’s a mouse.
“Whoa, is something under there?”
“OH CRAP, there is something under there! Don’t worry, I’ll get it!”
Another good game is to sneak up on her.
“Who’s there?!”
“Is somebody there?”
“Hold up. I gotta take a break and do some cleaning.”
HA! Mission accomplished. Kitty’s fully awake now. Maybe she’ll sleep tonight instead of keeping us awake with her shenanigans.

My cat, Chessie, prefers our bed too. Only, we don’t have to worry about her keeping us up at night because she’s old a crotchety. All she does is eat, sleep, and well, you know. 🙂

Us too, our Kitty tries to get us up a couple hours before we are ready to. We feed her as soon as we get up, but I’m sure that’s not what her motivation is, right? 😉
when they get older, they don’t keep you up all night; they sleep all day and all night too! Unless there is a mouse; my cat has been stalking my refrigerator for a week; must be something going on…..

Thank you! Kitty spends so much time during the day on our bed that sometimes she leaves a little indentation.

Love the peek-a-boo shot. My Sammy cat loves to play peek-a-boo. Loves my bed and quilt too. They are such fun and really keep you warm in winter. You should try hide and seek

Thank you. That’s funny that your Alley Cat always hid in the same place. We also like to chase our cat around and around the house, until she hides. Then a couple hours later, she jumps out at us just to scare us, and runs away.

Thank you! Kitty so enjoys watching us cook. Not sure the exact reason why, but I think it’s partly because she enjoys all the activity, and partly because she thinks she might get a handout.

Oh Thank You! Through the summer Kitty doesn’t sleep with us as much, but now that the electric blanket is back on the bed, Kitty is with us every night.
